Degree Completion for students not currently enrolled:
There may be times when students need to take a break from their studies, whether planned or unexpected. Obstacles to completing a degree can arise for many reasons, including changes in academic or career goals, academic challenges, financial difficulties, family or work responsibilities, or person and health-related circumstances. If you find yourself in this situation and are ready to return to complete your degree, the Center for Academic Excellence (CAE) is here to help. Lisa will work with you one-on-one to understand your circumstances, explore available options, and develop a plan to help you successfully return and complete your degree.
Current students:
Not all students who face challenges step away from their studies. Some remain enrolled but may need additional support or are seeking strategies to better balance their academic, personal and professional responsibilities. This may be especially true for non-traditional students, student-parents and others managing significant commitments outside the classroom. If you would like to learn more about available resources at Mississippi State University, explore alternative academic pathways or discuss strategies for overcoming challenges, Lisa is available to assist in working with you to develop a plan and create a path toward successfully completing your degree.
